A New Look for The College Solution Is Coming

Before I head into my sister’s kitchen in Pleasanton, CA, to start cooking the Thanksgiving feast and making a terrible mess, I wanted to share some news about my blog.

On this day of thanks, I am happy that my college blog has continued to grow in popularity this year.  I want to thank all of you who stop by to see what I’ve written lately that might help you find great colleges and universities — and, just as importantly, pay for them.

A growing number of visitors are finding my site, which motivates me to keep writing blog posts. I will confess that I do get tired feeding this college blog beast so regularly, but knowing that more and more visitors are dropping by definitely helps.

A College Solution Makeover

I am also thrilled to share that sometime this winter, my blog will undergo a complete transformation. I am very excited about the prospects for this desperately needed new look. The blog is no longer going to appear so busy or confusing. Long ago, I stopped liking the colors, the banner and the layout.

Next year, I’ll have a different banner, logo, layout, colors and an actual look for my brand. Being an impatient person, it’s going to be hard to wait for the unveiling, but it’s going to be worth it. So please stay tuned for the transformation!

I want to thank everyone for visiting my site this year and letting other families know about The College Solution.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  1. Can’t wait to see your new look! I am very grateful that I stumbled upon this site as our college search was gearing up! The college apps are almost all out there and now my daughter awaits the responses.

I have personally sent many people to this website in the past few months – the HS guidance counselors are not explaining this process in the way that you are doing.

    Keep it up!!

    1. Hi Susan,

I’m so glad you like my blog. I am eager to unveil the new look, but it probably won’t be for two or three months. Thanks for sending people to my site. You are absolutely right that many high school counselors don’t explain this stuff and the reason is because they don’t understand how the process works. And that’s sad!

  2. Thanks for all you do. I especially appreciate your repeated advice to look beyond the well-known schools and on ways to pay for college.
